Join Tom Garrett of Detert Family Vineyards, Alex and Graeme MacDonald of MACDONALD, and acclaimed winemaker Thomas Rivers Brown of Schrader Cellars and Dorsey Wines for an extraordinary evening in historic Detert Vineyard.

Limited to just 8 guests, this intimate dinner unfolds on historic To Kalon land shaped by two remarkable family legacies: Detert Vineyard, purchased by Tom Garrett’s great-grandmother, Hedwig “Mutti” Detert, in 1954, and the neighboring MACDONALD vineyard, where generations of the MacDonald family have stewarded old-vine Cabernet Sauvignon from one of Napa Valley’s most treasured sites.

Together, these hosts represent generations of stewardship in one of Napa Valley’s most storied vineyard sites. Thomas Rivers Brown brings the modern chapter, from helping establish Schrader as a To-Kalon icon to crafting Dorsey Wines from select Detert Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon and old-vine Cabernet Franc blocks.

Beneath the Oakville sky, enjoy a bespoke multi-course menu created by Chef Gary Penir of Cuisine GP, paired with rare library selections and current releases from Detert, MACDONALD, Dorsey, and Schrader. Along the way, your hosts will share the stories, history, and remarkable wines that have made To Kalon legendary.
